About Marketa

My name is Marketa, and I founded MiniPause to create a space for connecting and raising awareness about perimenopause and menopause. I aim to help women embrace this life stage, despite the challenges like hormonal chaos and emotional turmoil.

After struggling with symptoms for years, I discovered the term “perimenopause” through Dr. Sabinna Brennan, which transformed my understanding and sparked my desire for open dialogue.

The loss of my parents led me to consciously choose joy and reconnect with loved ones, appreciating every moment.

My diverse background in finance, alternative medicine, and education reflects my passion for well-being, inclusiveness, and personal growth.

I love exploring nature, practicing mindfulness, and connecting with others. My favorite movies and shows inspire me, and I enjoy non-fiction books, currently reading Pema Chodron’s “Welcoming the Unwelcome.”
